Desolate Journey
It's a long way from home.
Weary and desolate the journey.
The wind worn down from fatigue.
Strength spilling like a waterfall.
Drowsiness clouding the tired eyes.
The heat burning in daylight.
Cold freezing in the darkest night.
A thousand feelings
A thousand words to say, But not enough to make a sentence. A thousand petals of rain, Too little to form a lake. A thousand steps already taken, But the destination so far away. A thousand feelings fading away, For only a moment of peace.
